*If a fan is used, it should not be seen*
*The design should be futuristic and revolutionary*

Hello to all,
I am looking for a design for one of our products. The design can be conceptual and creative. It can be a hand sketch or a 3D sketch.
It is about a device that generates wind, more precisely a breeze. Both warming and cooling.
The design should be based on the feeling that a gentle summer breeze or a fresh natural wind evokes in you. On the design level, I have further compiled the following guiding ideas:
- It dont needs an owner, ist purose is unquestionable
- Limited but not determited
- The product is multifunctional (Also as design object)
- The product is inspiring
- The product is clear
- The product arouses interest
- The product is discreet
- The product is intended
- Wind only visible through moving objects
There are also the following technical requirements::
- Product is portable
- Product is battery powered
- Product fits on desk

I am very much looking forward to your designs

Is the "battery powered" absolute requirement? (Even a flashlight with D size batteries can retain its functionality only 20 or 30 hours at best. I recommend AC powered (or both AC/DC adaptor and battery if really needed) for a certain kind of warm air heater.)

Hello toshi, you are right. The main orientation is battery operation. Charging can be done via an AC source.
By the way, I am an electronics engineer and have a little experience with batteries and voltage converters and DC air conditioners ;)

      Salam ya Amr,
      high can be max. 60cm
Width can be negotiated, but it should be portable.
Prefered dimensions would be something like h=30cm, max w= 20cm.
Aim is to have a device that can bring you a nessma to your home whenever you want. While working or sitting on sofa or eating in restaurant....
      Good luck!

"If" a fan is used" do you mean that the product can produce air even without one? Or atleast a big and visible one? Please answer since it's a crucial detail. If yes I'll be then focusing to it's outer design and the technicalities on where the air can come from. It's really better if we know how the product is going to produce air but for now I'll just think it works the same way as dyson hot+cool blade less fan.

We are still not sure about this and on research.
Maybe it will be just a pulse of air, then we need to build pressure again in some tank. Maybe we will do it with some other new way. Thats why it said " if a fan is used".
You can go the way you suggest. Outer design focus and where the air can enter in the mechanisms to go outside to the user

Hello, no the fan should not be visible. There should be a mechanism inside that cannot be seen

wind can not be seen directly right? Only if objects are beeing moved. This is just one property of wind, that should be considered by designing the device
