We need a new website and back-end platform for our new company in Germany. We are a company providing medical services in Europe and we work directly with patients (more about our group at www.medicover.com). In Germany we are opening medical clinics providing endocrinology consultations to patients.
Right now we are using a temporary website which you can check at www.medicover.org, but we are not happy with the design (too bland, not saying much) and also with the back-end platform for modifying/creating new pages and adding texts (it is hard to place pictures, the pages are hard to modify, etc.).

Our website is structured in the following way:
- General website: here we have a few pages to describe who we are (ueber uns), what are we going to do in Germany, who are our partners (unsere Labore).
- Doctor information: we will have a few pages to tell other doctors/clinics we would like to collaborate with what are we offering them, informations. This part hasn't been developed, but we would need a basic layout for it.
- Patient information: we will have a complete category to write about our specializations (Fachbereiche), describing what we investigate, etc. Here we will use pictures a lot more than in other parts.
- Individual clinics information: we will have a sub-site for each location (Berlin, Hannover, etc.) with pages describing the team there, the specializations offered locally (might be different in every city), Schedule, Contact information, Google maps, etc.

What are we expecting from this contest:
1. New website with new design and layout:
- Modern looking, but with a professional/serious feel (it is not a personal website)
- Good structure for text (no floating text, layout that doesn't force the reader to scroll to much so he loses the other details from the page)
- Representative for German culture (in terms of colors, fonts): must show seriousness, instill trust.
- Patient oriented (pictures are important to instill trust)
- Layout and design for the following pages: landing page, about us (visual history from medicover.com, our centers and our fundation), our partners, specializations, doctor information and pages for one city (our team, schedule/visiting hours, contact, driving directions).
2. Professional back-end, where we can:
- Easily add/modify pages, or change the order of the pages (if we want to move a page under another category, or change the order in a menu).
- Add pictures and easily place them within text, ability to add other types of content (video, etc.)
- Ability to view what we create before publishing (preview mode)
- User rights (edit only one location)

Important notes:
- Please check the structure we currently have, it is very important for us! You can see the full version here: hhttps://medicover-dev.s1.centralmedia-solutions.de/über-uns.html.
- All the pages mentioned in the description are important to win the contest, but more important is to have the right design and feel. Please do not rush into providing something, we really want to see good design from beginning.
- The rest of the pages will be done with the winning team (on an hourly basis) after the contest is over.
- You can use any text from the given websites, they all belong to us and the text within, but you can use placeholders as well.
- Having a very good landing page that captures our patient's attention is very, very important for us.
- Biggest focus is on patients, but there is a part of the website dedicated to doctors, both have to blend in.
- A clinic is not the same as a hospital, we have direct contact with patients, there are no hospital beds, the nurses dress different, etc. This is very important for the pictures as well.

-the pages we want to see in order to decide the winner are: General Homepage; About Us; Specializations; Location specific homepage (Berlin, for example), Our team (this is also location specific) and an example of how the back-end looks like when editing a page (our doctors complained that the current admin is very difficult to use).
-please do not provide just a generic template/Wordpress theme you bought or don't even own, we were very clear in our brief about what we are looking for, it's doing yourself a disservice and it's also disrespectful to the other contestants who are actually putting in good work!

Hello again, a few extra comments:
- our corporate color is blue (most of you have already noticed this).
- another clarification, as a lot of you are stressed out: we do NOT want the full website before the end of the contest. In order to give the award, we need to see the design for the most important pages for us. Then we will decide on a winner. based also on the flexibility of the freelancer to modify according to our needs. We will release the money only AFTER the pages from the brief and the back-end are provided in usable form. This is NOT the full website, it's around 10-12 pages and you will have time to finish them, however the money will be released only after they are finalized (due to the amount in play).

Dear all, I can see this is a general problem: please go through the brief and medicover.org (use google translate to understand the sections), to get through the structure, we have the main website, where we talk about who we are as a company, what our specializations are for the whole group, but we cannot show doctors, or locations on the main website, as we will have 15 locations and 150 doctors in total, so this has to be shown individually on the sub-site of each location. We will award the contest to the freelancer that provides examples in any form of the pages, not just promises to do it afterwards. We need to see and compare the actual pages with what you provide in order to be able to decide on the design. Thank you and good luck, the Medicover team

  you have liberty of choice, however templates that can be bought are available to everyone, so your entry would be judged according to that. In short, you would be at a disadvantage compared to someone that comes with their own creation.
