We need a logo design for a vacation property that is located near the sea (on an island called Ilha Terceira, Azores) and features a polished nautical decor. One of the things that make the island unique is its two annex bays and black basalt stone shoreline. These traits may be considered in the logo concept.

We would like the logo to be:

- Compatible with the kind of engraving shown in the image below
- Feature an anchor or boat wheel
- Underline the fact that its a rental house, while maintaining a warm, inviting feel.

Some ideas I thought of are:

- The sketch below (no need to copy it, just an idea)
- The name "Porto de Abrigo" in the middle of the compass rose

But don't feel bound by these...

The logo will also be used in business cards and imprinted into towels.

The name of the Short Term Rental is "Porto de Abrigo"; that translates into Safe Harbor (just to help you understand the idea behind the name). That concept may also be referenced, but not necessarily. The slogan, that may or may not be referenced, is "Home is where the anchor drops".

We appreciate minimal design and negative space concepts - in a sleek and modern way. Although I feel the information provided is pretty specific i wont mind out of the box design concepts!

so mockups & busy logo are considere, no plane background are consider?

consider logo on white & dark background, not on mockups which are provided by designer, they are photoshop tricks,& most of them are copied from internet, final file is submitted by any designer is on plane background.Final logo looks very diffrent from mockups.Thank u.
The logo pasted on shining walls are from shutterstock & other website, we cannot find links so they hide under mockups.
